My New Blog

Huh..it's been a year I didn't update this blog. Well I must be very busy with my life, my job as a technical writer (acting), my lovely but active kids. And I also have a plan to publish a new blog which will be written in Bahasa Melayu (I hear that song .."Gunakanlah Bahasa Kebangsaan Kita..Marilah Amalkan Ramai-ramai"..yes that's it!). Temporarily I have one but my BFF said that I can't call it a malay blog since the wording still mixed English and Malay. However, I have a few notes standing by now to be published. Just thinking of the blog name. Is it leenfandey (likewise MonaFandey), azleenafandi or azleen.afandi? Haha..just wait ya.

I'm freezing..is it winter now?

I’m freezing!!! Help me!!

It is same situation like working in Cold Storage. Very cold. That’s the word. The expression. So I need to make many cups of hot drinks. Don’t get mad at me..it is not my fault. I’ll spare some time to get a picture of my workplace and the aircond location. One is on top front of my place and another one is on top behind me. Both heading to top of my head and it made my brain frozen. I can’t describe it in another proper word. Thousand apologies if any of you feel humiliated. My fingers are cramped and I need to frequently rubbing them both to make them warm and unfrozen. I think the email I received from my friend yesterday influenced me a bit. :D

I was shocked and kept goggl~ing until I found this post from a forum. Hey! The sender's name isn't invisible like those claimed in this forum.

So all of you out there, please ignore the email with title ‘Fw: Winter storm expected to hit KL on 20 Nov’ because it’s a hoax and leave me alone here frozen..LOL

Erry's little but great achievement

I am really happy for Erry’s success in her final examination. Although for many of us, ten is a ‘big’ number but that was a big achievement for her as she struggled hers own self for her exams. I really didn’t have time to look after her schooling matters but Alhamdulillah everything went on smoothly. Now it is time for me to buy her a present. She dreamt of a nice watches for her. Erm..what should I get ya. I think Timex watches is just nice for her as her still childishly attitude sometimes but she likes sports very much.

Miserable Day

I do not know why but I kept making mistakes while driving to the office. I think the incident that happened early this morning influenced the way I drive my lil' car. I was late to the office and as usual speeding was the only way and 'cilok' (to slot in front of other car) will be my expertise before heading to the toll booth. But apparently there was a car which I've seen many times during my journey to and from the office kept blocking my way. I saw two logo stickers on the car's plate. On the right was MU logo andI on the left I wasn't sure..so I drove closer and oo..it was Sabah's state sticker logo. Then after that I began 'ciloking' again until I passed by the toll. After made payment, patiently I waited for my queue to move forward then asusual I'll head to the left sideway. Suddenly, the car that I saw closely kept blocking my way. I remembered like give him/her a honk but it was really unnoticeable. Finally I manage to be at the same row with this car. Then I noticed the owner lowered down the passenger's window screen. I thought it could be someone who knows me so I looked to right sideway. Gosh..she's a lady driver and her appearance resembles me of Ijune, my ex-office mate at MMCSB. I started to smile but her face wasn't that cheerful. She was saying something and pointing at me with her index finger (jari telunjuk..ok?). And that was so rude. After that she showed sign like "come here I wanna say something or I wanna teach you something". And to my surprise, this lady is wearing a veil and proper "Baju Kurung" (maybe because its Friday). So my response like "what? I don't get you and its nothing, ok? and also like "bolayan" look". Btw, she wasn't happy, she tried her best to block my way but finally I managed to overtake her (the illegal way-cut queue at PJ-Sunway junction). I didn't care as I was battling with my time to reach my office by 8.30 or later by 8.45 am. However her reaction distracted me a bit where I almost hit a paedastrian who crossing the junction at ss 19 residential area. But I thanks Allah whom helped me to arrive safely to the office and I made it before 8.45 am. :D

My Top 5 Treat List

I came across this contest from a blog which I will visit almost every day that is BlogPakarHowTo. Talking about self-treat, I think everyone is looking into it and will work hard but sometimes it can be their only dream come true. A Very Beeelated Birthday

Hehe...this is specially dedicated to my only Malay lady office mate, Nani. I promised her to treat her for a special lunch during her birthday which fell on August 1, 2009. But since she was busy celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend whom is now her fiancee and also her birthday fell on Saturday (non-working day) so my memory slowly fades about the promise. And finally on Friday 6th, I took her to Nandos. At first we plan to order grilled chicken but it ended with us eating only the starter package that was Peri Kick Starter. That was because we saw two businessman partner having it at Nando's foyer and it looks really tempting. Hahaha. But then Nani must be thinking "K.Leen ni kedekutnya belanja starter je dah la dia pau skali starter tu". Hehe...but Nani..u said u are on diet, rite? and so do I". I ordered one set of chocolate mud cake and in my mind it should be rich in chocolate. But disappointedly it was a choc muffin cake with one scoop ofvanilla ice-cream and looked so...stunned. Promised to myself that I'll never ever trust their choc mud cake dessert. Really disappointing. However, with the starter pack only we can still fill up our stomach equally.Haha..items came in an even figure. So we had our portion equally.Yummy!

Nando's Peri Kick Starter

A Beautiful Day

What a great and beautiful day! My long lost friend since childhood had accepted me in her messenger list. Thanks to my google master – Himi Ibrahim (He shares his birthday with me and we’ve been exchanging birthday wish since secondary school I guessed but we never seen each other face to face and I couldn’t imagine the scenario if we happened to), for the fast and accurate google result. Welcome back my friend, Rusmin Arma Mohd Rasid. And to my not to miss daily chatting friends since last year Rafidah Aimah Abdul Rahman (Aimah) and this year, Siti Hajar Che Wail aka Tik (got her ID from facebook..hehe).

I treasure many happy moments with Aimah especially when we were in Standard Four (4 Kuning/Yellow) at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulai Chondong. Thou the challenging moment shared with Tik. And Rusmin shared many moments related to my late mom which I truly had eternity love for. From her story, I knew that she really a strong willed person. My eyes soaked with tears each time we chatted about our life and fate. For Aimah whom in my opinion has all the luck with her. Tik also another full with energy and effort. Well for me, I guessed in the middle of everything. I think I’m quite problematic girl/ lady who previously very independent during her bachelorhood but after marriage tends to be dependent to her hubby. Cannot make decision even on small matter like “what’s for dinner?”. I feel like I live in dreams haha..like to dream..angan2 mat jenin kah?. Nevermind. I think I need to learn a lot but I feel lazy coz I am tired with my life. Tonight maybe I need to update my CVs. Who knows..the lady luck is on my side this time. I’ll get a better job and most importantly near to my family. Oh Dear Allah..I prayed to you for everything and every success and every safety. Owh..talking about my old friends from primary school, I have this song that keeps repeating in my mind. The song title is “A Beautiful Day” taught by our music teacher, En. Azmi.
