My Unfortunate Day

Yes! It was really an unfortunate day for me. That was because; First, I've been having sore throat since monday and it spreaded to become coughs and running nose. So I went to the nearest panel clinic seeking doctor's consultation and I'm sure the doctor will give me a day rest (MC) for the whole day. And I was 25 minutes too early that I've been diagnosed by this male doctor from the night shift (this clinic operated 24 hours). Adam also been diagnosed by him since his cold and cough not 100% recovered. The doctor quickly left the clinic after he's done with us because I saw one fat black guy was waiting impatiently at reception area. Apparently I thought he will give me a day rest (why on earth I didn't ask from him!). But he did not! I re-confirmed with the clinic's staff whether the doctor gave me a day rest and the replied was "No" and nothing can be done because the doctor already left. Then I was thinking arghh...should I take an Emergency Leave or not? Then I decided to apply for 2 hours off (minimum can be applied referred to my company's HR rule). So..after sent off Adam to day care, I had my own sweet time for breakfast with hubby who previously took me and Adam to the clinic). Then we headed home. 9.00 a.m. There's still time before 9.30 to reach the office and I was so sure the traffic would be clear at this time. So I rushed off to the office. Unfortunately, it was very heavy traffic and I managed to reach the office at 9.50 a.m. Previously the HR Assistant already called me and I told her that I'm halfway to the office but the traffic was bad.I managed to reach office at 9.50 a.m which means I'll be deducted 2 hours from my annual leave :(

Secondly, soon as I lay myself at my work place, my partner told me that someone whom we called PM (Project Manager) looked for me. Ahh..he came and took me to meet his client from 2nd biggest telco company (blue logo). So, I've been assigned to do a quick guide for their mobile trading system. Actually to shorten the original users guide from 37 pages to estimated 5 pages only. Erm..Cover already one page, then the table of contents one page...three pages for the whole content? I was supposed to receive the edited file from this uncle but none coming in into my inbox. Using my own copy, considerably I managed to shorten the contents (actually it was rubbish in rubbish out) into 5 pages, which altogether 7 page sincluding cover page and TOC. After lunch I got reviews that many contents not there. Why? I think you readers can guessed why, right?.Rubbish in Rubbish Out. Until end of day I kept altering the same document and finally it becomes a 14 pages brief but informative document.

Thirdly, hubby wanted spaghetti for dinner so I asked him to buy the ready-made spaghetti sauce, Spring onions and minced meat. But when I started my cooking preparation, I found out there was no minced meet bought. A bit depressed but I know I can blend the available meat cube in my freezer. So I started off by cooking the spaghetti al-dente. Half way, the cooking gas sounds weird and started to run out of it and then finally it was totally ran out. After that, Adam Izz started crying and wanted me to place him on kitchen cabinet top. Hubby was not happy about this but patiently he took the empty gas tub to the groceries store nearby and came home with the filled up tub. So I continued with my sauce. Overheard someone commented waiting too long for dinner to be served; I quickly turned off the gas and served dinner. Voila..there come my spaghetti soup (overloaded with water). Tasteless.

Fourth and finally, I need to tidy up the house after dinner, folding the clothes and mopping the floor and etc. After done with prayer I started lay down on my bed. Tht time was 1.15 a.m in the morning. At 4.30 a.m, Adam gestured for milk so I woke up and mixed a bottle for him. And to my surprise..he did not want to continue his sleep instead asking me to wake up and play with him. To avoid from his weaning, then I have to play with him and fell asleep while Erry and hubby get ready to go out for school and office. What a day and night and another day. I knew I really need a really strong coffee after sending Adam to the day care. Sigh!..
